Gallery Glimpse. UX/Ui Design.
UX/UI concept for Gallery Glimpse, a virtual museum app that reimagines the experience of exploring physical galleries in a fully digital space.
This project focused on creating an immersive, accessible platform for discovering art and cultural content from anywhere.
The app was designed end-to-end, including user research, wireframing, and interactive prototyping to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. The layout emphasizes clarity and flow, allowing users to easily navigate between exhibits, virtual tours, and featured collections.
When you are in AR mode you can see the art in its actual spot in the museum. It also provides information of the work, share options, image enlargement, ability to add to your ‘Favorites’ list, and the option to make ‘Notes for future research.’
Here you see the exhibition page, where you can choose from hundreds of exhibitions in different museums. You have the option to take part in AR tour OR navigate the museum on your own.
‘My Page’ & ‘Favorites’ Page - Making the app more personal and interactive for users.
The app offers a ‘Discover’ page that links you to popular articles about art work around the world as well as an option to filter genres of work you are more interested in viewing.
A clean, modern visual system was developed to support the content without overwhelming it using thoughtful typography, structured layouts, and subtle interactive elements like audio guides and video integrations to enhance engagement.
Customization features further allow users to explore at their own pace, creating a more personal and immersive experience.
At its core, Gallery Glimpse is about accessibility and breaking down physical and financial barriers to make art and education available to anyone, anywhere.
